New Faces in 2000
Antoni Sitkiewicz: - Project Director
Antoni joined RLCL in September. He is based at our St Ives Office and is responsible for the
company's business development in eastern England. He previously worked for Bretts Aggregates West Ltd (formerly Greenham Construction Materials Ltd) where he was Deputy General Manager. Antoni brings to RLCL a wealth of practical, hands-on
experience of operations, technology, planning and commercial aspects
of minerals and wastes
management.
Paul Hardwick: - Senior Hydrogeologist
Paul joined us in May from the University of Huddersfield in West Yorkshire. Whilst in the academic world Paul enjoyed a distinguished career in both teaching and research. He has a PhD in Karst Hydrochemistry and Sedimentology and has developed dye tracing as a practical site investigation technique. His arrival at RLCL has strengthened the team with his expertise in hydrogeology. He has already made important contributions to projects involving landfill design, risk assessments and the remediation of contaminated land.
Paula Fraser:- Secretary / PA
Paula joined our Lyndhurst Office in October as PA to Ben Arnold and secretary. Her interests include darts and (reading about) crime.
Richard McAree:- Consultant
Richard joined RLCL in September from Portsmouth City Council where he worked in the City Engineer's Highways and Wastes Management department. He is based at our Lyndhurst office and will specialise in working on consultancy projects for local authorities - particularly refuse collection, recycling and street cleansing. Richard has a special interest in benchmarking and Best Value.
Amanda Holder:- CQA Engineer
Amanda joined us in October. She is qualified in Engineering Geology and her experience is in laboratory testing and fieldwork. Her role with RLCL will involve supervision and
construction quality assurance of engineering works at landfill sites, geotechnical design and testing.
Nick Horwood:- CQA Engineer
Nick joined us in September and is based at our St Ives office. He is qualified in Environmental Geoscience. Nick's varied career has
included servicing computers, lorry driving and working for Terra Geotechnics in Malaysia as an engineering geologist, supervising site investigations.
Graham Knott:- Environmental Technician
Graham joined us in September at our Lyndhurst offices. His work is mostly topographical
surveying, computer groundmodelling and computer drawing. |
