Our Sister
goes from strength to strength...
In the last year
Waste Management Research Limited (WMRL), an Environmental Body has
gone from strength-to-strength with over 50 ENTRUST approved and
landfill operator funded projects under its belt. WMRL is a sister
company to Robert Long Consultancy. Its purpose is to receive and
manage funds from landfill operators under the Landfill Tax Credit
Scheme. |
|
Michael Jones has taken over as Chief Executive from Bob Long (who
retains the position of Chairman) and is hoping that WMRL will
continue to grow. Notable highlights of this year include:-
-
Cleansing Service Group reaching £½ Million Landfill Tax credits
being used or promised within the Walsall area since the scheme
began;
-
being
asked to run the new Hampshire Steering Committee for Viridor Waste
Management; and
-
reaching the 50 approved and funded projects milestone, many of
which relate to education, research and recycling.

way. This is funded by Viridor and involves studying the impact of
landfill on the aquatic environment near the Beddingham Landfill in
Sussex.
