Robert Long Consultancy Goes North!
(18
June 2001)
New Office in Huddersfield
Robert Long Consultancy Limited is pleased to announce the opening of a new branch office in Huddersfield. We now have three offices. This is another step in our long-term plans for steady growth and the development of a nation-wide service to clients.
Our new base in Huddersfield will literally bring us closer to new and existing clients in the north. We always try to listen to what clients want and being "local" has clear advantages in the speed of response and competitiveness - especially when site visits are needed.
Elizabeth Simmons Appointed Project Director
Elizabeth Simmons, currently with Enviros Aspinwall is joining Robert Long Consultancy Limited in Huddersfield as Project Director in August. She will manage the company's northern projects and take the lead in business development. Elizabeth has many years experience in planning and EIA for wastes management facilities, landfill restoration and land remediation projects.
The Huddersfield branch will combine existing and new staff. Paul Hardwick has relocated from our Lyndhurst, Hampshire office and Selena Smith has transferred from St. Ives in Cambridgeshire. Justine Adams, Office Manager, will divide her time between St. Ives and Huddersfield. Nannina Allen has joined us as our secretary at Huddersfield. Over the next few weeks Bob Long will manage the Huddersfield branch development personally. In the short-term, Huddersfield will be supported by a fluid movement of staff from Lyndhurst and St. Ives according to the needs of each project.
We continue to specialise in wastes management, minerals and land remediation. We have recently put more emphasis on working for local authorities on Best Value projects. We have been delighted to add several waste disposal authorities and many waste collection authorities to our client list.
